We're an Ontario-based company that designs, builds and runs AI agents for Canadian businesses with roughly 10 to 200 staff. AI Agents for Business was founded by Scott Holmes.
Who is behind AI Agents for Business?
AI Agents for Business was founded by Scott Holmes, an Ontario-based AI automation builder.
Scott builds the kinds of systems this site describes: n8n workflow automations, AI voice agents on Retell AI and Vapi, knowledge systems that answer from a company's own documents using Claude and Flowise, and AI agents built with the Claude API and MCP, the Model Context Protocol, a standard way to connect an AI model to business tools.
He has built AI systems for clients ranging from local trades businesses to technology companies.
AI Agents for Business narrows that work to one thing: agents that take repeatable work off operations, admin, sales and customer-service teams, inside the tools those teams already use, with a person approving anything that matters.

How do we work?

What you can count on

- Ask for staff passwords: each agent gets its own account with limited permissions.
- Let an agent move money on its own: payments, signatures and customer emails wait for a person by default.

A person signs off on what matters
Models are good at reading and drafting. They are not accountable. Anything with a real cost if it goes wrong gets a human approval step, and you decide where that line sits.
If it isn't logged, it didn't happen
You should be able to answer "what did the agent do last Tuesday, and why?" without calling us. The log is part of the build, not an extra.
Test on your work, not a demo
A demo with clean sample data proves very little. We test on your real orders, invoices, emails and calls, including the awkward ones, before anything goes live.
Know where your data goes
Before you sign, you see which provider handles which data and where it's stored. If it needs to stay in Canada, it can: on a Canadian cloud region or your own hardware.
